So as we are on our half term a new dance term fast approaches. We look forward to welcoming the regulars back after a week off and of course new faces are always welcome. If you haven't joined us at The Ballroom Company before then why not come and take your first dance steps?

This new term sees classes continuing in Ballroom and Latin American dance but in a slightly different way. Classes have got shorter but we have now introduced more practice time. Those of you have been with us a while will know how important this is. It should work really well on a Tuesday night, you can see all our times for classes and practices in our 'What's on' section.

The usual dance team of Danny Bell and Jayne Moors will be heading up our Ballroom and Latin American Classes. Practices are self directed, and any problems that you come across can be covered in Class or Private Lessons. Diane Leek is continuing to make you sweat in ZUMBA® and a very good job she is doing too. We've seen some great progress in the Argentine Tango Class in which we have far more planned for the future.

Anyway, enough from us, get yourself booked on and we will see you next week.

So a new term is set to begin at the end of February 2012. We've got some great changes to the timetable this term which will enable you to take advantage of a regular practice night. They do say that practice makes perfect and it is certainly true in this instance. Having the opportunity to run though each dance each week sure greatly improve our progress and reduce the amount of recapping. This ultimately means that your precious class time will be spent on something new. We hope that you agree that this is a super change to the timetable. Obviously in a practice you may have a rest, have a drink and socialise with friends. Although from experience I will advice that a drink does impair dancing ability but you will think you're better at least!

Can't make it to practice? Then don't worry, you will have your class as normal.
