The Ballroom Company was founded by Danny Bell a Ballroom and Latin American Dancer, Instructor, Choreographer and Adjudicator. Danny is qualified with the Associated Board of Dance and in his career as a dancer has held many championship titles including Ireland, Scotland and All England Champion in both styles of dance. By the age of seventeen he was representing Scotland internationally in the European and World Championships in London, Vienna and Copenhagen. 

However, flying the flag didn’t stop there and he has competed across the world from Germany to Russia, as well as performing at some of the most prestigious venues in the world of dance. These include Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom, Bournemouth and Blackpool’s Winter Gardens and the world renowned Royal Albert Hall. 

It was at the Royal Albert Hall that he competed in the World Championships in 1999. Entry to this event was by invitation only, which went to the top 78 couples from around the world. 

Now, alongside his continued involvement in Dancesport he now takes great joy in introducing people to the enjoyment of dancing and the physical and mental health benefits that it offers.
